Everything about your wedding, including your invitations should reflect on whom you are and what you like. It is all about making them personable and individualized. This is your wedding so this gives you a real chance to do whatever colors and whatever themes you want to do!

Chances are you and your soon-to-be husband picked out the themes and colors, and the location of the wedding ceremony. And since the wedding invitation are an overall introduction to your wedding ceremony, they should reflect on the choices you made for the wedding style.

Back in the day it was the norm to have your wedding invitations be very traditional in both their appearance, size and color. However, these days you can actually design wedding invitations with a variety of colors, styles, themes and sizes to reflect the theme of your entire wedding.

Now you can add vibrant colors and make modern colorful wedding invitations or you can stick with a more elegant theme and go with black and white wedding invitations. Of course you also have to realize that the creativity does not end with the invitation or card itself. You also can really design wedding invitations with font styles and font colors as well.

One suggestion I have to make is that no matter what font you choose, make sure it is easy to read! I cannot tell you how many weddings I have been invited to and I practically have to get out a magnifying glass to see the date and time. Be as creative as you want, but just make sure everyone can read what they say!

If you are still having a really hard time when it comes to design wedding invitations, there are a few questions you can ask yourself in order to come to a final conclusion so to speak.

First off, what kind of a wedding are you having? Is it at the beach? Is it casual? Is it dressy? What destination did you choose for the ceremony? Next, what is the color or theme of your wedding? Do you want the same colors or themes to reflect upon the invitations? If so, you should choose colors that match up with your other colors!
