Over time, this tradition has become even more important. Many styles and designs of the wedding cake toppers have changed accordingly. Some would want their wedding cake toppers to make the enhancement of the decors of the wedding cake. Sometimes, the cake topper is a prerequisite before entirely decorating the cake. It can be of different purposes – a statement that reflects a personal style of the couple, speak of the vision of the marriage, but sometimes, it simply is for decorations alone.

There are many cake toppers you can choose from, depending on your personal preferences and your wedding theme. A crystal wedding cake topper can be a good choice. It can be of different sizes and shapes. The cake topper is made of crystal, and will provide a unique look which can be also be Swarovski crystal, for a more elegant look. If you will have an antique-themed wedding, a vintage wedding cake topper can be purchased from antique shops. You can also ask your parents and relatives if there is one that has been long used by the family. Lastly, you may also opt for a more religious wedding cake topper design, in accordance to the holiness of the wedding ceremony. Finding Your Wedding Reception Hall

 |  Published in Wedding Party Thoughts

Picking the perfect reception hall for your day can be challenging. Deciding among location, price, size, features, and beauty can be quite the balancing act. Your guests will primarily remember your day by the quality of the reception, and the reception hall directly impacts this. Thus, making the right decision is stressful, but it should also be fun. Here are some tips to make the best of it:

First, do not get tunnel vision when choosing between different reception hall options. Even if you have had your heart set on a hall for a long time, keep your mind open to other possibilities. (For example, you may have thought you would always have worn a white wedding dress until you saw that pink wedding dress…)You may find a hall that fits you better than you would have thought. For example, many go the traditional “banquet hall” route. These sites know how to run weddings and are set up for them, making the job of holding the reception or wedding party easy, but they can also be pricey. There are other less common alternatives out there that may work just as well and are much cheaper – perhaps an outdoor wedding or a wedding in a community center or other public place.

The major variable impacting your reception hall choice is the number of guests you are inviting. The hall will give you an estimate for how many guests it can fit. Make sure to find out if this means the hall can fit these guests comfortably, as they may be able to fit them in there according to fire code regulations but with little in the way of comfort. Especially with lots of dancing bodies, rooms can heat up quite quickly, so make sure they are temperature controlled.

The directors of the banquet hall, or the person who is running your reception, will be crucial partners in your wedding planning. You want to feel comfortable with them, and you want to trust that they have your best interests at heart. Pepper them with questions when you meet: how long have you been running receptions? Can you offer references? Make sure you can work closely with them on issues of design, theme, and other specifics.
