Wedding Party Thoughts
When you think about it, wedding accessories are a major part of the wedding ceremony. Almost everything about the ceremony is made up of accessories. The bouquet is an accessory made from flowers. If the bride wears gloves they can easily be considered one too. In fact, one of the most famous sayings about a marriage ceremony is held around accessories. You have heard it before. It goes something like this: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. I hadn’t thought about it like this previous to now, but it definitely appears that those little additional touches can create a more special day for you and your loved one.
Some wedding accessories I had never thought of make a lot of sense to me now. So I decided to list a few of my favorites that had slipped my mind when thinking about which ones I would use in my wedding if I was going to do it all over again, or some of them that I think are either unique or cool. So here we go.
Lingerie – It makes PERFECT sense now that it has been said. An accessory that is completely private for you and your soon to be husband, and yet you get to wear it amongst the crowd of people attending the ceremony as well. It’s a wonderful addition that you both will most likely remember for the rest of your life.
Wedding Favors – Everyone wants to take home something to remind them of the special union and commitment they have just witnessed. We decided to give away wildflower seeds at our wedding as our wedding favors, but you can use anything that fits the theme of your big day as a little something for your guest to remember your big day.
Confetti – I guess you could even say that rice falls into this category, but I really liked the idea of confetti for a wedding accessory. It can be used in a number of really cool ways. Like I mentioned, you could use it instead of rice to have thrown on the bride and groom, or you could use it to jazz up the tables at the wedding reception. It can be used to decorate the dance floor in an interesting way.
These are just a few of the ones I was thinking about, but there are so many others out there, like plastic wedding plates for example. In fact, there are so many possible wedding accessories that the limit is pretty much just what you can conceive within your brain. The wedding party will be happy that you stretched your creativity for the best accessories.

Wedding Party Thoughts
It’s the small details that can add perfect ambiance to your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, and wedding party. One of those details that can make a big difference are wedding centerpieces. They are something that your guests will see which reinforce the overall theme or feel of your big day. They are also something that will draw their eye and make an impression during those transitional moments between scheduled parts of the event. If you think about it, it should come as no surprise that these unique touches can create a memorable experience that adds to your most special of days.
I’m a firm believer that the things which stand out during a choreographed get together, such as a wedding, are those things that fit really well in the overall theme. That is why I believe that the best wedding centerpieces are those which embrace the style and design of the marriage ceremony. If you have decided on a traditional theme then you might choose to have a flower centerpiece styled around your wedding colors. However, if you are incorporating something more modern as your theme, say a poker theme, then you might find that a centerpiece constructed around playing cards and poker chips will give you just the right feel. As long as you incorporate your style and feel into the centerpiece you will have a distinct detail that will set your day’s look apart from the average ceremony. The important thing is to be true to yourselves and what you feel is a great addition, and not to be swayed by what others may think about how you choose to present your wedding style.
I have a friend who maintains a great website on the best wedding centerpieces, and if you are looking for ideas this is a great resource to check out. There is a plethora of information that is far more in depth at her site, and I recommend that you check it out for more reading and resources if you are in the market for just that right detail to set your special day apart. If you are looking for information about flower centerpieces or tropical centerpieces you should be able to find something at her site that will help inspire you in finding the perfect wedding centerpiece for your perfect wedding.
