Type of jewels

Eternity rings are a niche engagement ring style that involve tiny jewels being placed along the entire band of the ring instead of one central precious gem being used. Because of the controversy with inhumane treatment of diamond miners, more and more people are turning to alternative gemstones in their engagement and wedding rings, especially their birthstones. Laboratory-created diamonds are also available for much cheaper than the natural kind, and you don’t have to worry about supporting an inhumane industry.

With tension bands, the jeweler uses a hard metal, like titanium to hold a hard jewel in place with the sheer tension of the band on either side of it. Only some gems will be hard enough to withstand this pressure, so your options might be more limited, but the end result is a very elegant appearance.
